A hard drive for mobile video pros.

adatash93_b.jpgI’ve been working a lot of shoots using flash media and one of the key functions of the “media wrangler” is to dump the flash media to a hard drive (or two) while the shoot continues. Those hard drives are in the field, often connected ot a laptop, and taken from location to location. So drives that are designed for a bit of “handling” are good assets to have.

So then A-Data’s new ruggedized hard drives should be something you look at. It’s not just covered with a bit of rummer (like some other “rugged” hard drives) but it’s mil-spec tested for drop, and even underwater for 30 minutes.

SH93, the industry’s first ever waterproof and shock resistant portable HDD designed specifically for students, road warriors, and sports enthusiastic.

Incorporating rubber-plastic mix and special cushion materials, the SH93 sustains 1M waterproof test for 30 minutes and military standard MIL-STD-810F drop test. The MIL-STD-810 test addresses a broad range of environmental conditions to generate confidence in the overall durability of a system design.

Besides being waterproof and shock tolerant, the SH93 is beautifully designed with users’ best interest at hart. The USB cord is conveniently stored into the slit on the side of the HDD, no more missing cord.

The SH93 comes in two colors : racing car yellow and chili pepper red. With capacity up to 640GB, it is easy for users to conveniently carry around massive documents without the fear of damaging files stored in the HDD in the incident of accidental drop or water spills.

Waterproof, shock tolerant, and cable storage, A-DATA SH93 HDD have them all!
